What parents and patients wrote
A dentist your child meets before anything hurts
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends a first dental visit by age one, or within six months of the first tooth appearing. That early visit is short. The dentist looks at how the teeth are coming in, and you leave with a plan for brushing, flossing and snacks, so the first time your child sits in the chair is a calm one, not a toothache.
Children here are seen through the practice's pediatric dentistry service, by its dentists; no pediatric specialist is listed among the eight doctors, and we would rather you hear that from us. What you do get is one office for the whole family, kid-friendly techniques, and a team that can book you and your kids on the same afternoon.

From a baby's first exam to a teen's bite check
Pick what your child needs. Each page explains what happens in the chair, in words you can repeat to a nervous six-year-old.
The people your child will meet
General dentists see children for checkups, fillings and urgent visits. If a child needs a root canal, gum care or surgery later, that care is in the same building.

By age one, or within six months of the first tooth appearing. That is the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry's recommendation, and the practice follows it.
No pediatric dentistry specialist is listed among the eight doctors. Children are seen through the practice's pediatric dentistry service by its dentists. If you want a specialist for a particular problem, say so when you call and the team can talk it through.
Yes. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel, and sealants cover the chewing surfaces of the back teeth to keep plaque out of the grooves.
Ask for back-to-back appointments when you call (626) 669-3141 or note it on the request form, and the front desk will try to line everyone up together.
Call (626) 669-3141 right away. Emergency pediatric care is part of what the practice offers, urgent cases are prioritized, and same-day visits happen when availability allows.
